I started where most people start — building websites. WordPress, PHP, the usual. And every single client had the same hidden problem: the site worked fine, but behind it a human was copying leads into a spreadsheet, then into a CRM, then writing the same follow-up email for the fiftieth time that week.

Nobody was paying me to fix that. So I fixed it anyway. One workflow, then ten, then fifty. Somewhere in there I stopped being “the web guy” and became the person they called when a process was on fire.

I'm not a no-code evangelist and I'm not a code purist. I use n8n, Make, Zapier and GoHighLevel when they're the fastest reliable path — and I write Node.js middleware the moment they hit their ceiling. The tool is never the point. The system is.

My rule is simple: if it can break at 3am, it isn't finished. Retries, idempotency, dead-letter handling, alerting. That's the difference between a demo that impresses you and a system you forget about because it just works. 50+ systems, 99.9% uptime — that's not luck.
